In March 2008, Tendis, working in partnership with Hammersmith and Fulham Council, located a team of employment support advisors at a formerly discreet council managed advice centre (Shepherd's Bush Advice Centre) on Uxbridge Road near White City, to create a joined up offer, Advice and Employment Shepherd's Bush (AESB).
Building on the expertise of both partners, the new service offer worked to pro-actively remove the boundaries between employment support and debt and welfare benefits advice.
"The joining of the two offers simply makes sense. Of course we can still offer conventional debt and benefits advice, but the provision of Tendis' employability and job brokeage services on an in-house basis enables us to support residents to move away from debt and benefit dependancy by gaining employment and this is something the staff team and serice users are very excited about."
Kieran Dunne - Advice Team Manager (AESB), June 2008.
Since 2008, the offer has continued to grow, adding new services such as financial literacy support for job seekers and additional support from other advice

agencies including Hammersmith and Fulham Citizen's Advice Bureau and Hammersmith Law Centre.
