In August 2008, Tendis was commissioned to deliver the lead Job Brokerage function of the 2007/09 LDA Area Programme, led by Hammersmith and Fulham Council.
The project offered workless participants a personalised package of interventions including one-to-one support, IAG and action planning. This was coupled with access to a range of skills development workshops and taster sessions, leading to employment opportunities including those with Barclays Bank, Control Risks Screening, the NHS, St George and Argos. Ongoing employment rentention support and co-ordinated access to complementary services such as debt and benefits advice and support developing financial literacy was
utilised to enable participants to sustain employment and allowed the project to exceed all contractual targets.
