A key issue for local councils is work undertaken to maximise job opportunities for local residents at major new development sites and from major infrastructure projects such as Crossrail. More effective interventions by local authorities will help more residents get jobs linked to these developments. Tendis has been commissioned to identify opportunities and develop approaches to improve the effectiveness of the West London boroughs on this issue.
The specfic objectives of the project are to:
Map and identify sub regional development sites and projects that will create significant job opportunities for local residents.

Identify interventions and strategies that will maximise job opportunities for residents.
Provide practical recommendations for action to improve the implementation of employment initiatives.
